GHANA MUSIC AND FOOD FESTIVAL IS AN AWESOME IDEA-AYIGBE EDEM

The man from the Vollta Regime and the last two camp Ayigbe Edem threw positive words to the idea of the Ghana Music and food festival slated for the 28th-30th of October 2011 by calling it awesome idea.

Edem who spoke to us during the MUSIGA press conference held by Obour as he outdoored his management team said that life has always been about music, food and drinks.

He said: ?If you watch life carefully true happiness has always been circulated around music, food and drinks, hence anytime there is music you will surely find food and drinks, so for me I see the idea as an awesome?.

He also added, ?anytime there is a festive season being it the Muslims Salah, Christians? Christmas or the traditional Homowo for example one cannot go wrong with the use of these three factors of happiness, music, food and drinks?.

The newly appointed member of the MUSIGA sponsorship committee spoke very well by using the Ghana Music and food festival to marry all three different believes in the country and ask them to join him come the 28th-30th of October 2011 at the trade fair as we wine and dine for unity.

GHANA MUSIC AND FOOD FESTIVAL DECLARE HAPPY HOUR DATE

 The upcoming Ghana Music and food festival slated to take place at the international Trade fair center in Accra has declared 28th of October 2011 as the ?Happy Hour? as it doubles as the main opening ceremony for the event through to 30th of October 2011.

In a release from the organizers, Konsule Entertainment, the event which is now a three days, that is from the 28th-30th of October 2011 event will see the first day or better still the opening ceremony taking people  down flash back  memories and blending it with a touch of 21st century activities to it.

  A-Plus, CEO of Konsule Entertainment disclosed, 28th  is declared Happy Hour because of its activities lined up for the opening ceremony, it will take old folks back to their youthful days and the young ones will still feel they are in charge hence there will be enough fun and excitement for all genders of live?.

He also noted that, on the day dignitaries of all walks of the country will be there, from the castle will be His Excellency the Vice President of Ghana, among other state dignitaries will all be around to mingle and have fun with the very people that made who they are.

Obrafour Endorses Music and Food Festival

Ghana's rap pastor Obrafour has endorsed the first ever music and food festival scheduled to take place at the Trade Fair on the 28th- 29th and 30th of Oct 2011 this year.

The event which saw its additional days been added as a result of the Ministry of Tourism backing will host all of Ghana's finest musicians in the country in all three stages set for all kinds of music lovers.

Rap pastor Obrafour who came out to say that, music and food festival is so laudable an idea that he does not only want to perform on the day but also wants to be part of the organizing team making sure this historic event in the making becomes a success.

In a chat with A-plus, CEO of Konsule Entertainment,  main organizers of the event, he disclosed that Obrafour coming on board only shows how credible the music and food festival is, but apart from this heavy weight champ, there are more weights behind the show that in due course they will be unveiling for fans to know.

He further on spiced the information by saying, we also have the Vice President of the republic of Ghana  has also endorsed the music and food festival, that should start ringing bells that music and food festival cuts across all kind of people and not only for entertainment players.

Finally A-plus said that, musicians lined up for the show have been divided into three folds, gospel stage, Hi-life and Hip Life stages so where else will you be if not at the trade fair on 28 through to 30th of Oct 2011.

Mark the dates down, 28th, 29th and 30th of Oct. 2011 as Ghana holds its first ever music and food festival in Ghana at the trade fair, come dance to music from Obrafour, Amakye dede, Praye, Pastor Josh Laryea, among others.

The Music and Food Festival will be an annual event at the Trade Fair Center. The event has been carefully designed to target everyone. We have decided to contract musicians and performers of all genre and ages to perform at this festival to offer people the chance to go with their personal preferences.  Different genres will therefore  be available at various points of the Trade Fair Center. 

To make this possible, we will divide the venue (Trade Fair Center) into three main segments and each area will have its own stage and setup. The three proposed areas are;

THE GOSPEL STAND (dubbed Jerusalem)This will be setup behind the Trade Fair administration block

THE HI-LIFE STAND (dubbed Ofie) Will be Set-up at the extreme end behind the round pavilion and the HIP LIFE, HIP HOP & REGGAE STAND (dubbed Neighbourhood) Will be in-front of pavilion A and B.

PRAYE TO SET THE GHANA MUSIC AND FOOD FESTIVAL "ABLAZE"

One of hip-life greatest groups of all time, Praye, is set to perform at the first Ghana Music and Food Festival on the 29^th of October. The award winning and chart topping group which has been in existence since 2005, is made up of three talented young men who don’t know how to stop making hit songs.

Speaking to the manager of the group, Pascal, he made it clear that they are not only happy that they have been chosen to headline the event, but also delighted to be part of the history that is about to be made. “After performing to our fans all over the world, we are delighted to be part of a festival which is widely expected to be the biggest entertainment event ever to be organized by Ghanians to uphold our rich cultural heritage” He said. “We have been commissioned to compose a theme song for the event which we will outdoor at the official launch of the festival”. He added

Praye Tiatia speaking to the Music and food festival .com said this is the first time they will rehears for a whole month in preparation for an event. “The reason why our stagecraft is different from others is that we have a policy of rehearsing one clear week before an event. We know the kind of dance the audience will love, which of our songs they will dance to and how the atmosphere will be like depending on the venue. This time we have decided to rehears for a month. This should tell you that we have a common goal in ensuring that the festival is a huge success and our fans are given value for their money”. He said.

When we asked Mr Kwesi Davis, head of production at Konsule Entertainment, why he chose Praye to headline the event, he asked us a simple question; "Who else were you expecting? They are the obvious choice. The people want to see them. We will bring them". He also stated that this is the first time an event will have over 100 artists performing from all genres. "I want to give festival attendees the best i can. They will get home and smile in their sleep. All I can say is that it is a music and food festival, nothing will be left out".

The music and food festival is on the 29^th of October at the Accra International Trade Fair Center. It will be the first time an event will have three stages at the same venue.
